About
CLINICAL PRINCIPLES

At Trainor Physiotherapy and Osteopathy, we blend the knowledge base of disease processes, biomechanics and clinical skills to get to the root cause of physical pain and dysfunction. As a physiotherapist with the principles and skill set of an osteopathic manual practitioner, we assess and treat the cause of physical dysfunction and symptoms in the body.

Through assessment and treatment by implementing osteopathic principles, we can analyze the structure and function of the body to facilitate self-healing and self-regulation. Trainor Physiotherapy and Osteopathy is centrally located in Lindsay/Kawartha Lakes and only 40 minutes from Peterborough. All sessions are very private and always one-on-one. For more information please book a consultation.

OSTEOPATHY

Osteopathy is the foundation from which osteopathic principles are applied for the diagnosis and treatment of dysfunction in the body. Osteopathic principles and applications are at the root of seeking the cause of physical dysfunction and can influence the body’s ability to self-heal.

The osteopathic manual practitioner is trained to treat various conditions based on their in depth palpation skills and therapeutic techniques. These are used in conjunction with a thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology and pathology.
